Information or Advertisements?

Recently, has said that because I wrote a story that used Justin Jeffre’s campaign logo, that he needs to include it as a contribution on his campaign disclosure form.  His implication is that if I decide to use a logo to go along with a story, that the logo is not a visual aid for information, but an advertisement.  Therefore, I have decided to collect links to all the Council candidate websites I could find, including logos.  Do they all need to include this in their campaign finance reports?  How much is it worth?  Will they all include it at the same amounts?  Or, is Brian Griffin just an idiot?

I believe the following are visual aids to go along with links.  I provide this for your convenience in finding information about some candidates.

*Justin Jeffre’s campaign page

*Greg Harris’ campaign page

*Brian Garry’s campaign page

*John Eby’s campaign page

*Chris Bortz’s campaign page

*Leslie Ghiz’s campaign page

*Pat Fischer’s campaign page

*Roxanne Qualls’ campaign page

*Joan Kaup’s campaign page

*George Zamary’s campaign page

*Jeff Berding’s campaign page

*Melanie Bates’ campaign page

The following candidates do not have logos online, but here are some images to give you a visual aid.

*Charlie Winburn’s campaign page

*Andre Harper’s campaign page

*Laketa Cole’s campaign page

*Mitch Painter’s campaign page

*Minette Cooper’s campaign page

No images easily available:  Steven Pavelish, Sam Malone, Chris Monzel, Michael Earl Patton

I’m just doing this off the top of my head.  Let me know who I forgot, and I’ll try to update this strand later!
