Who Commissioned Anti-Dean, Anti-Pepper Websites?

Posted by The Dean of Cincinnati

Two new blogs have showed up in the local blogosphere, each dedicated to character assassinations of enemies to Phil Heimlich:  , which makes bad jokes about future County Commissioner David Pepper, and , which does the same thing about your humble Dean.  But there are more similarities between these sites.  It appears someone has commissioned for the creation of these character-assassinating blogs.

Both blogs have a first post dated July 25th.  So they were created at the same time.  Might they have had the same creator?  What other clues might we be able to uncover?

I looked through the archives here at The Beacon, curious as to what was happening around July 25th.  Interestingly enough, that date is one day after we posted this classic video of failing County Commissioner Phil Heimlich running away from hard questions like a sniveling boarding-school child.

And in that video, I mentioned David Pepper’s name to Phil Heimlich.

Did Phil reach the conclusion that I chased him down on behalf of Pepper?  Anyone who has been following our work concerning Phil Heimlich knows we’ve been chasing these stories for almost two years before David Pepper entered the race for County Commissioner.

But the timing is strange.  One day after we released a hilarious video exposing Heimlich’s fear of questions, two blogs show up dedicated to making fun of David Pepper and The Dean.

Who might be behind such childish shenanigans?

It reminds me of being a teenager.  We used to play silly games like that back when we were children.  My neighborhood was filled with jokesters.

Where did I grow up?

Finneytown.
