Let’s just stick to the facts.
Voicemail to Michael Earl Patton, 11/13/2007
This message is for Michael Patton. This is Chuck Wagner at the Board of Elections. I was calling in regard to your question about the results from Tuesday’s election. The results that are up on the website are earlier results than the final CD that you picked up from our people upstairs. I am not sure why the results on the web are not final, but I’ll look into that and get it updated.

This is John Williams. I’m the director of the Hamilton County Board of Elections. You have an erroneous posting on your journal site in terms of results that apparently a gentleman picked up. Mr. Patton picked up a disc that contains the increasing totals only. It does not contain the absentee totals. We are not off by 9,000 votes. There was no contact to The Board on this story. But he received an increasing disc only. It does not contain the absentee numbers. I would appreciate it if you would withdraw the comments on the posting as it is factually incorrect.
