In this recent exclusive, Tom Brinkman, in regards to the Heimlich Jail Tax Proposal, said, “I, Tom Brinkman, have never stated that I was going to vote for this. Never.”
And, in reference to another passage, Brinkman said, ““I do not see the ‘I’ in that quote, as in ‘I support’ or ‘I will vote for.’”
But check out the following video clip from a recent Westwood Concern—where Tom Brinkman seems to openly and clearly support the tax.
What gives?
Yes, you heard him. He said, “We endorse this plan, we look forward to supporting it in November on the ballot. You won’t hear any opposition from the anti-tax folks. We’re 100% behind it.”
I eagerly await Brinkman’s explanation.
