Not quite a day has passed since Kabaka Oba was shot in front of City Hall. The latest reports list him is critical condition. And two prominent blogs in the community of Cincinnati Black activism— and —have chimed in with some thoughts pertaining to this shooting, and the reasons behind it.
In a post entitled ”,” Livingston writes the following:
I’m told that Joy and Bailey made threats to sodomize and kill Howard on their cable TV show last Sunday.
The Cincinnati Beacon will attempt to acquire audio of these statements in the next few days. I do remember hearing Kabaka on WAIF last week, talking about how—if Howard Beatty were to shoot Kabaka—he would end up in jail at the hands of Kabaka’s sodomite friends. And in , Livingston mentions the number of people who Kabaka has attacked recently.
Brigadier General Nikki X of The Black Fist has published about the situation, suggesting that Kabaka’s latest plaything, Joy Rolland, is to blame for the recent events:
Joy Rolland started this war with the Beatty family and she enlisted dumb ass bailey/oba into her wicked vicious evil bullshit! It’s just that simple. As Bro. Nate stated (not a direct quote), “Bailey gave up everything he had to fight Joy’s battle(s).” Now this bitch is somewhere crying and trying to figure out how she can capitalize on bailey’s bullet wounds and get ready for her next close up! And of course, play the innocent victim role to the hilt!!!
As of this morning, has no updates about the shooting, though Rolland was spotted this morning in the courthouse to watch Howard Beatty’s arraignment.
